Under the Desert Sky
We drove into the center of Joshua Tree late at night and stood under an unbelievable sky. A comet crossed above us like a small sign of luck, and I hope it brings us good fortune for the rest of the year.
Back at the Airbnb, we had BBQ and enjoyed a cozy desert evening together. We also went on a desert trail the next day, beautiful but exhausting, walking through dry light, open land, and the quiet rhythm of the park.
